EndoSphere Surgical was founded by a team of pioneering veterans with roots in the early days of video endoscopy. Their goal is to harness the latest technology to redefine how laparoscopic surgery is performed.

Melvin Prenovitz, CEO, Founder, a pioneer in video endoscopy, founded MP Video to OEM manufacture the first video arthroscopy cameras to global medical optics companies achieving more than 50% worldwide market share for five consecutive years. Following the sale of the company to a NASDAQ-traded company, and prior to EndoSphere, he co-founded The Incus Group providing interim management and consulting services to a broad range of industries. Mel is a graduate of Babson College. |

| Jack Herman, COO, has held senior management positions in early stage and established medical products companies, including Chief Operating Officer, Micell Technologies, Inc., Vice President, Product Development, MicroChips, Inc., and Vice President, Development and Operations, Focal, Inc. At C.R. Bard, he served as the Vice President, Research and Development for the Cardiology Division and President for the Critical Care Division. Mr. Herman holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Colorado and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri. He is a co-inventor on 41 issued US patents and is a registered Professional Engineer. |

Arthur McKinley, VP R&D, Engineering and Manufacturing, Founder, is the founder and CEO of Zibra Corp., a manufacturer of specialty micro-borescopes, OEM medical endoscopes and R&D optical system design. Art was co-founder of American Surgical Technologies Corporation (now Viking Medical) a venture-backed 3D video endoscope company, and is a Board member of Biovision Technologies, a producer of office endoscopy equipment and disposable endoscopes. Zibra provides engineering and manufacturing resources. |
